We’re really proud of our conference, it’s basically one of our Crown Jewels! We love hosting it and our delegates love attending, last year one woman said it's “the most inspiring and engaging conference I’ve ever been to!”
But this year, we’ve decided to take a year out.

We are channelling our energy into the 2025 event and can't wait to see you there! 

WHEN Women Awards launching in 2025

We are super excited to have kick started the co-creation of our sector wide awards scheme to celebrate phenomenal women working across the breath of the sector.

As with all WHEN initiatives, this initiative will be co-created with women who work across the sector. If you would like to help to shape  the Awards then we'd love to hear from you.

Career Accelerator used to transform research culture

May 2024

Transforming research culture is a major priority for the whole sector. One of the key elements of this is transparency and support for researchers and their careers. That's why we're delighted to have worked with UCL's Research Culture Directorate to tailor our Career Accelerator programme in order to support UCL's researcher and technician community. So far the impact has been incredible and we can't wait to deliver more programmes over the summer.

WHEN's 2023 annual conference to take place in person in London

January 2023

We're so pleased to be coming together face to face after three fully digital conferences. Our focus will be careers and taking charge of our own trajectories! This is a highlight of our year as we bring wonderful women together. Hope to see you there.

WHEN visits the BBC with its SWOC

WHEN's Senior Women of Colour (SWOC) group were hosted by the BBC to get to grips with broadcasting on TV and Radio and get listed as experts that can be called upon by the BBC as part of their 50:50 campaign.
