Many of us seldom take time out of our day to day roles to think about where we have come from, what we have achieved and where we are heading. This programme provides a unique opportunity to do this, prioritise you, for once. 

We must look back, in order to look forwards. Understanding the key milestones that have all lead us to our current positions is an important step to identifying patterns and opportunities. 

It's always easy to have a career goal. It can be difficult to articulate or even know what we are aiming for. But together we will take time to do this, to understand what we want to achieve and define goals that we can aim for. 

Once we have a clear ambition in mind, what we need to do to achieve it, can be mapped out. Gaps in our experience, knowledge or skills that may prevent us from achieving our goals can be identified and we can create a plan to overcome. Some barriers may be out of our control entirely, in which case we can draw on the strength of the cohort to share experiences and support one another. 

For those things we can control, we must take control. The programme provides structured techniques, tools and approaches to achieve tangible results in achieving greater career fulfilment and progression.

We must start somewhere. Breaking down long and medium term aspirations into simple, tangible steps is key to achieving our goals. The programme supports you to do this and you will leave with clarity and confidence about taking action.

After the two-day workshop, you will work with a career coach, in a group with up to six of your peers from the programme. In the 90 day period after the workshops, you will be part of two action learning sets, where you will have the opportunity to share and receive support in the implementation of your career action plan. 

Through the programme, you will meet up to 30 women from your own institution, who share a desire to increase their career fulfilment and progression. You'll spend two days together, forming new connections and creating new opportunities for continued networking following the programme. You'll become part of the programme alumni group, for which we plan to extend a warm invitation to reunite and share achievements and lessons.
